Overland Park, Kan. (4/28/22) – Fueled by rapid revenue and team growth, Dynamic Logistix (DLX) – a third-party provider of shipping technology and freight solutions – announces today that its new 44,483 square-foot office is now open at the Overland Park Xchange at 6800 W. 115th St. in Overland Park.

“Moving to Overland Park Xchange provides a phenomenal opportunity for us to not only continue to expand and better serve our growing client roster, but to also further establish ourselves as a premier workplace within the Kansas City area,” said Jeff Auslander, CEO of Dynamic Logistix.

Affectionately known as “Big Blue” in reference to the company’s bold blue “X” logo that now faces 115th Street, the new building will house 110 current employees with room to grow up to 240 employees. The space features a 4,000-square-foot state-of-the-art kitchen, high-lofted ceilings, a vaulted hub or “dome” for the operations team, a lounge, cafeteria and a private gym with 15 kinds of equipment and showers.

Founded in 2012 and acquired by Kompass Kapital in 2016, DLX combines an innovative technology platform with dedicated personal service to manage more than $1 billion of freight under its distinctive Transportation Management System (TMS) known as X.TMS. This proprietary and intuitive software helps under-resourced transportation departments at middle-market companies automate and optimize unwieldly shipping logistics. To facilitate its quality client service, DLX included two large training centers (4,000 and 1,500 square feet respectively) for hands-on training of clients using DLX solutions.

“DLX is a disrupter in third-party logistics with a deliberate focus on applying world-class technology to transportation logistics,” said Auslander. “However, our X-factor is the exceptional customer service that our clients receive from our team, which is a testament to the character of our people and the importance of the DLX culture.”

By delivering a technology solution to middle-market freight shippers, DLX increased revenue from $300,000 to $200 million in five years, with an annual growth rate as high as 3,840%. This client and revenue growth created positions for 25 new employees in 2021 and the company plans to hire another 70 employees for positions in operations, account management, customer service, carrier service/management, finance, quality control, sales and transit management.

DLX wins Ingram’s 2022 “Best Companies to Work For”

As a recognition of the employee growth and culture at DLX, Ingram’s magazine just named DLX a winner of its 15th-Annual “Best Companies to Work For” competition in its May 2022 issue. The award recognizes DLX as a company “whose management practices, educational and advancement opportunities, benefits and spirit of teamwork set them apart from tens of thousands of other companies.” Ingram’s also recognized DLX as the “#1 Fastest Growing Company” in 2019 and the Kansas City Business Journal honored DLX as one of its annual “Best Places to Work” in both 2019 and 2021.

Involvement in KC community is at the forefront of DLX’s culture

One of the most important reasons that makes DLX a great place to work is how the team gives back to the community where it lives and works. Examples include several back-to-school supply and food-pantry drives throughout the year and now an annual company charity event where the entire team participates.

This  year DLX is the presenting sponsor of the 2022 Tee Off Fore Tots Golf Tournament at Ironhorse Golf Club in Leawood on Friday, May 6, where DLX team members will volunteer to help raise money to benefit Infant Toddler Services of Johnson County.

Infant Toddler Services fosters and coordinates the delivery of timely, comprehensive, quality services for children from birth to 36 months who have developmental delays or disabilities. DLX became the presenting sponsor of the tournament so that it could help raise the funds needed for Infant Toddler Services to make a big difference in the life of children and parents in Johnson County.

To support Infant Toddler Services of Johnson County, you can purchase tickets for the 2022 Tee Off Fore Tots Golf Tournament, presented by DLX.
