Dynamic Logistix Ranks No. 2892 on the 2024 Inc. 5000
With Three-Year Revenue Growth of 160%+, DLX Ranks No. 2892 Among America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Overland Park, Kan. (Aug. 13, 2024) – Inc. magazine revealed today that Dynamic Logistix (DLX) ranks No. 2892 on the 2024 Inc. 5000, its annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. This prestigious ranking offers a data-driven look into the most successful companies in the economy’s most dynamic sector—independent, entrepreneurial businesses. House-hold name brands like Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Under Armour, Timberland, Oracle, and Patagonia all first gained national recognition as Inc. 5000 honorees.
Dynamic Logistix was founded in 2012 and acquired by Kompass Kapital and its current operating partners in 2015. DLX offers full-service transportation management software in addition to standard brokerage services. Managing more than $1 billion of freight, DLX focuses on small-to-middle-market shippers by providing end-to-end logistics solutions that manage and track shipments, automate tasks and performance reporting, reduce risk, and ultimately save companies time and money.
“We’re incredibly proud to be recognized as an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company again this year, not only at a regional level but now for the first time at a national level,” said Jason Yeager, DLX’s Managing Partner. “This award highlights DLX’s unique X-Factor: the power of our team and our cutting-edge technology. It’s the culmination of the positive impact we’re making for our partners by bringing logistic solutions into the 21st-century, resulting our in substantial year-over-year growth.”
The 2024 Inc. 5000 ranks companies based on their percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To make the list, companies needed to be operating by March 31, 2020, and must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – by December 31, 2023. (Since then, some may have gone public or been acquired.) The revenue minimums were $100,000 for 2020 and $2 million for 2023. Growth rates used for the company rankings were calculated down to four decimal places.
The companies have driven impressive revenue growth despite facing inflation, rising capital costs, and tough hiring challenges. Among the top 500 companies, the average three-year revenue growth rate is 1,637 percent. Altogether, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added 874,458 jobs to the economy over the past three years.
“One of the greatest joys of my job is going through the Inc. 5000 list,” says Mike Hofman, who recently joined Inc. as editor-in-chief. “To see all of the intriguing and surprising ways that companies are transforming sectors, from health care and AI to apparel and pet food, is fascinating for me as a journalist and storyteller. Congratulations to this year’s honorees, as well, for growing their businesses fast despite the economic disruption we all faced over the past three years, from supply chain woes to inflation to changes in the workforce.”
